U.S Army to Switch from Android to iPhone July 19 2016
Something that many people don't realize is that in today's modern world, our armed forces use technology we often use at home, including smartphones. The uses include receiving battlefield information in real time and piloting remote robots and drones.
Up until this point, the U.S Army Special Operations Forces have relied on the Android Tactical Assault Kit for such uses, however it seems that they are considering switching to the iPhone 6S. According to an anonymous source, the iPhone will become the standard device on which to run the iPhone Tactical Assault Kit for the Army SOF.
