New MacBook Pros Feature a Touch Bar October 28 2016

Yesterday, Apple unveiled its latest generation of the MacBook Pro. Loyal customers have been waiting for this release for years as Apple has not refreshed the MacBook Pro line since 2012.

When people talk about Apple, they talk about innovation, and that's exactly what Apple has brought to the table by implementing a revolutionary Touch Bar which replaces the row of function keys above at the top of the keyboard. The Touch Bar is illuminated, but not too brightly that it distracts from the screen. It also has a nice, matte look and feel.

Apple and software developers are taking advantage of this new Touch Bar with functionality and compatibility throughout the operating system, proprietary software like Final Cut Pro and iTunes, and third party software including Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop. The Touch Bar is also customizable to suit your needs. You can rearrange icons on the Touch Bar to your liking. The Touch Bar also features a new Touch ID fingerprint scanner so that you can bypass having to type passwords and entering credit card information to make purchases.

As for the rest of the MacBook Pro, it's thinner, has a better designed keyboard, and has a better display, among many other refinements. If you've been waiting to update your 4-year-old+ MacBook pro, now is the time! Apple is taking pre-orders now, and they're likely to go fast.
