Along with the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Apple is introducing the latest iteration of it's state-of-the-art iPhone operating system, or iOS 10. The team at Got Mac has been trying it out since its release on Monday and we have to say we're thoroughly impressed, to say the least.

Along with speed improvements (yes, it really does feel a lot faster), the iOS offers many new design tweaks and built-in features, the main one having to do with iMessage.
In iMessage, you now have a lot more functionality as far as interacting with your contacts. You can send rich links that display thumbnails and in-line videos within your message threads as well as several text messaging effects that really make the texting experience all the more fun.

We've been getting reports of Verizon Wireless customers saying that in order to ship their iPhones in as part of their trade-in program, the battery must first be removed. We speculate that this is to help minimize the possibility of battery damage during transit. It's a simple enough undertaking to remove the battery, but it does require some special tools. It also requires some technical know-how. We do battery replacements here at Got Mac for all iPhones. If you need to have your iPhone battery removed, please don't hesitate to bring it to us.
