Initially released in conjunction with iOS 6 & the iPhone 5 back in 2012, Apple Maps has received scathing criticism the world over since 2012. The application's main gripe with consumers was its lack of accuracy, frequently landing users in places other than where they intended to be. To combat the issue Apple has enlisted the help of third-party contractors to verify that homes, businesses, & public services are actually where Apple Maps says they are.
